A decent price drop on the 64GB since the last deal and the 128GB is back in stock and slightly cheaper.

They can get hot under constant writes, good for reads. I use one for music storage plugged in to an AVR.

  • Plugging/unplugging in the back of a tv would be a nightmare

  • Don't like Scamazon, but I need one of these, does anyone know of similar pricing on another site?

      • Thanks, but all twice the price.

        Appreciate the help anyway 👍

Shoppingsquare.com.au have them on sale regularly for a dollar or two above Amazon's price. I've never ordered from them so can't attest to their service/delivery performance. Just checked now and they have the 128GB version for $19.98 plus $3.95 shipping. Still more expensive but if you don't like Amazon then that would appear your best bet.

Any similar sized flash drives but with a USB-C connection?

  • Would using this on the Firestick Max (for emulation games) make this too "hot"?
Wanted to know if it would just read the game once or be constantly writing to the drive.

It would only be save states that would be writing (I think and I'm no expert). It would depend on the emulator and its features (any auto rewind feature or screen capping). At $9 for 32GB it's worth a shot.

      • I just went for the 128 for $18 .. worst case scenario, I'll have a new thumb drive on my keychain for work. lol.

  • Could I connect this to a USB-A to USB-C convertor and still get the same speeds?
