Was doing my weekly shop today at the local Westfield and noticed on a few of the advertising boards a notice for $1 regular chips @ KFC Mall stores only.
I'm assuming this means food court stores only, can't find it on the website but found it in the app once I picked my nearest food court store.

I personally used to use the $1 large chips to get a cheap and bunless 2 piece feed/box.
order a 2 piece combo, swap the chips for a potato and gravy, add a 1$ chips. bang done deal.
looks like the prices have been tightened though as there is only $1 between the 2 piece combo and the 2 piece box
nice little hack, only good for a snack though :( Id definitely still be hungry after a 2 pc combo

I saw the same advert on a shopping mall poster, says limit 4 per order. Not sure how strict they are with that.

My local has $2 popcorn chicken advertised instead. KFC chips are so bad, wouldn't even buy it for $1.
Really? I think they're the best. Unless ordered from Highett KFC in Melbourne, I always thought they were sublar. But seriously, what's your preferred chip then?
I think Schnitz does the best chips, but even HJ and Macca's do better chips than KFC. I find their chips go soggy too quickly, even when cooked fresh.
Schnitz chips are rubbish in Brisbane used to be good. Now I just call the place shitz.

Sadly the one at the Fortitude Valley metro, basically a big food court, is not $1 small chips :(

My app advised me this afternoon they are running low on lettuce, so they are mixing lettuce and cabbage. If you didn't like that, take the "lettuce" off the burger. I know this is about chips.
Yeah it was flashing the same at my local in Perth also.
Not seeing anything on the app, I’m in VIC, but the local restaurants around here have laminated signs saying similar:
we have to cut down on lettuce due to the recent floods (not that recent) in QLD and NSW.
It’s taped to the drive through Mic / Speaker stand in the drive through and probably inside the restaurant….maybe (haven’t checked).
I should check the one and only food court KFC here in Bendigo, VIC to see if they offer any of these deals. Alas not everything in the state capital city stores makes to the regional stores.
I am 100% certain that when using your GPS location if your local franchise store doesn’t want to do a deal they are able to change the options on the app which is just wrong but complaining gets you nowhere.
As for lettuce, they are so stingy with the lettuce generally I haven’t noticed any difference on the Zinger Stacker. Other burgers may vary?
