  Gosh this takes me back - I bought teh 2D version of Duke Nukem for PC, and it was awesome fun.

  1991 - wow, that is 21 years ago. What machine was it - a 486DX66 I think, with the full 8MB of RAM.

    Oh same!!!!

    I had the same machine
    The dx2 66mhz dos machine
    Ran windows 3.11 nicely
    But didn't need it

    Dos was the bomb

    And xtree hahahah Ohhh the old xtree

    No sound card, used the pc sound speaker
    Was so funny

    But then later installed the old school sound blaster 16 card

  i just went into the game, shot the barrel of explosive and uninstalled the game after that. Controls are just so unbearable. =\
