Hey guys, with recent events like what happened to Appen and AGL, does anyone know of any discussion forum sites where people come together to rumour and gossip about companies on the ASX?

I am aware of Hotcopper, however because it’s listed, they don’t allow for rumours and gossip. I am after something similar to Reddit, where occasionally rumour and gossip eventually turns out true.

    Reddit is full of people who know very little about stocks and lose money blindly

    Hotcopper like you mentioned isnt a bad place to get confirmation bias from other stupid people

    and if you want to go full brain damaged youtube and twitter have some really trash you can find and comment on

    Your guess is as good as anyone else's. If someone was making Warren Buffet money, they wouldn't be posting on reddit.

      I have had some good gains on US trades based on rumours on reddit before the news hitting mainstream media, so it’s about timing on the news rather than a guess or insiders not sharing news.

    /r/ASX_Bets - the Australian version of /r/wallstreetbets.

    Not sure if it occasionally turns out to be true though. Probably not, from what I've read on there, generally people with no idea playing in spreadsheets.
