        Even worse, they didn't use real zeros in the graphic image, they just replaced the zeros with doughnuts. The shock, the horror!

    South Australia are an independent Franchise owned by the Peregrine Group. July 2014, South Australia embraced Krispy Kreme as their own. Making the first South Australian store the most successful store (since 1937) that has ever opened anywhere in the world.

        Probably precooked and pre bagged. Basically throwing them at people as they walk pass. Local is a drive through. Just setup a table each car length like a police drug & alcohol testing. But then common sense doesn't always prevail.

    I can't help but think of the poor cashier kids everytime Krispy Kreme do some massive promo like this. Seems to be every fortnight. They deserve some overtime pay for these shenanigans!

      Big busy profit days with the minimum wage employees getting the same pay is a little unfair.

      It's not like casuals aren't sent home early on quiet days.

    They used to give you a free one that Was still warm at the stores that make them. If their light was on they would be doing that.
    Used to go in and purchase a coffee and score the free treat.
    Then you would have to ask for one( in real ozbargarainer style) , then they stopped it completely.
    Now I brave the drive through line that is usually a 15 minute ordeal and then the 10 minute delay of getting out of the carpark and back onto the road.

      I went to the Sydney Airport KK around 10pm last night - the misso wanted donuts and we were bored.

      While we were deciding how to fill up our 12 box, the server turned around and grabbed two donuts straight off the line and handed them to us with no charge.

      Great service!

    In Poland there has been an official doughnut day since about the 16th century https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fat_Thursday. It's good to see this tradition growing
