Hello,
I recently purchased a Nintendo Switch OLED and I was playing SNES Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong 2 and Donkey Kong 3. I have completed all three of them and now I am looking for similar games in Nintendo Switch OLED.
As per your knowledge and experience, can you suggest any similar games? I prefer games with stages, killing enemies and finding hidden items (similar to Super Mario or Contra or Super Contra etc). And I prefer to buy them cheaper if I can.

Yooka laylee and the impossible lair is great. Definitely give that a go.
Also try VVVVVV. That is absolutely amazing, the puzzles blow your mind, the exploration factor is amazing. I feel like I am a kid again with the tingly magic feeling that exploring a game gave me back then.

Also might be worth checking out Super Mario Maker 2. It's 2D Mario, but anyone and everyone can make and upload their levels (for better or worse). There's some real clever and interesting stuff on there if you can find it though.

Rayman Legends is a must buy. It's going for $15 at Mighty Ape right now, physical copy obviously.
Another modern stab at the genre is Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair, currently on sale on the eshop.
