I am looking for a prepaid plan with no lock-in contracts. I saw that kogan has a $2.90 for 30 days starter pack. It also says ongoing $20/month. I don't understand what this means :(
For anyone that has used a kogan starter pack, can you please tell me if when activating this starter pack, do I need to sign up for a 12 month plan, where only the first month is $2.90?

Is that when I am activating the sim? I don't want to pay $2.90 and wait for the sim card to arrive, only to find that its a 12 month plan :( thats why am asking for anyone that has used a starter pack for advice.

Stop trying to be Captain Obvious. I couldn’t find the information and this is why I posted. At least deva5610 was kind enough to post the conditions here instead of what you did! If you can’t be helpful then its better to not respond!
If it's their prepaid then there is no commitment. You don't even need to pay the $20 for each month after, if you're fine with having no data and minutes during those extra months.

No need to sign up for a plan, you can use the first month for $2.90 and then port away if you want to. If you stay on past the first month then it will cost you $20 per month

It asks for your credit card upon registering. Just make sure to turn auto-renewal off and it won't charge you for the second month.
check the expiry, normally 30 days and goes back to originally full price or does not even include a plan just pay for sim.
Aldi one is around $4 and last for 365 days.
