Hi bargainers,
2 weeks ago I ordered a galaxy s22 from samsung online and entered my current s9 as a trade in.
The trade in value was $60 but I got extra $400 as a promotion so the total trade in I got was $460.
According to the terms, I have to return my trade in phone within 7 days of receiving the new phone.
It's been 8 days since I received the s22 but I still haven;'t received the trade in instructions email.
I contacted samsung twice, first they asked me to wait and then asked me to email asuion.
Asurion came back saying I will receive an email in a few days and won't charge me the $60 non return fee yet.
But the issue is, I will be away for a month soon and I wont be able to send the trade in if I don't get the trade in email soon. Contacting both samsung and asurion was not any help.
Has anyone been in my situation ?
I wouldn't mind them keeping the extra $60 that I have paid for the trade in, but don;t want to pay another $400 if they come back saying that I have to pay back the trade in bonus since I did not return the phone.
