one of the only few new AMD Processor gaming laptop, looks okay with spec, you can get the Ryzen 7 model for around $2879, coupon poped up for about an hour in my cashback plugin and works with Dealbots Vivid5 coupon as well..

      It will probably only cost around $4k after the inevitable substantial discounts/cashback 1 or 2 months after release which is the best value dollar wise compared to other brands charging over $5k for similar specs due to import taxes

    HX chips have 55 W base TDPs and 157 W Turbo. They are going to be power hungry and generates a lot of heat. It's best to wait for reviews before making a buying decision, if the price premium is going to be worth it.

    12th gen makes no sense in laptops. More heat and worse battery.

    I could care less about Intel or AMD.. but this gen AMD is the more efficient choice.

    I purchased one, slow delivery and most likely from oversea + Startrack. Ordered on the 6th June, In-transit on 11th and got it on the 16th.

    So 11 days from placing the order to delivered to Inner Sydney.

    I got the one with Cherry MX keyboard. The laptop is okay so far, I am using it mainly for work, haven't tried much gaming yet. One slightly annoying thing is the backlight bleed on max brightness, but it seems to be an IPS thing.

    So don't expect to receive it within a week. Btw, have I mentioned Startrack? ;-)
