I'm wondering if the Xiaomi Aqara door sensor can be set to send an alert after a certain amount of time if our garage door is left open?
For example if the garage door is open for longer than 3 minutes, it will send an alert?
Or maybe there is another alternative? Thank you!

hey mate, I just checked and it appears the maximum you can set is 1 min so unfortunately you can't set 3 mins duration on the Xiaomi app. However, on Alexa devices you can set wait time to more than a min. Hopefully it helps but let me know if you have any other specific question.
yes, you can set a duration of time to alert you. I have it for the precise reason albeit an alert after 1 min. Sensor works great with Alexa integration too
