Dealsdirect must be one of BigPond Shopping's major suppliers and as such most items are dropshipped direct from the Dealsdirect warehouse. Both online shops seem to sell similar lines of product.
A division of Dealsdirect also runs the new online shop http://www.priceisrightshop.com.au/.
TPIR Shop is managed by Deals SA trading as Shoppers Advantage Pty Ltd which is a division of the Dealsdirect Group Pty Ltd.
I think they have a lot of retailers selling on bigpond. For example, I am sure celarmasters is on there.
i think bigpond is not a shop, but like ebay a platform for businesses.
DO NOT SHOP or BUY ANYTHING THROUGH BIGPOND SHOPPING! LET THIS BE A WARNING TO EVERYONE - IF your order goes astray you will not be able to contact ANYONE to help you sort your problem out.
I ordered an item through BIGPOND SHOPPING (& BIGPOND said through email that my order query would be passed onto DealsDirect - this is how I found out that the two companies were linked). There is NOTHING on the BigPond site that says this is the case, so consumers are oblivious to this little fact!
You can forget about trying to track an item you paid for. There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE contact telephone number for BIGPOND SHOPPING and after 3 unanswered emails to their "Customer Support" link on their site and further investigation with DealDirect I can find NO ANSWERS as to where my item is after almost 3 weeks of non-delivery.
Even though the order will be coming from DEALSDIRECT they told me they CANNOT track a BIGPOND SHOPPING order number!
Thankfully I paid through PAYPAL so have put a claim of non-delivery through to them.
To add further confusion to the matter I noticed that the Paypal payment was paid to yet ANOTHER company called: "SHOPPERS ADVANTAGE PTY LTD". Should anyone else have this problem that I now have and they paid through Paypal they can email: [email protected]
Waste of time, will never shop with either company EVER AGAIN!
