Good Evening

I'd really like some honest reviews on the Oppo Find X5 Pro please. I've always had Samsungs, currently I have an S10. Looking to upgrade and considering jumping across to Oppo.

Any feedback would be great thanks

  I've always always been tempted by the oppo (x2 pro, x3 pro and x5 pro).

  But got a cheap og fold and now I can't use a 'normal' phone anymore.

  I have always bought Samsung since the original Galaxy S. After years of upgrading to every flagship every year, I finally gave up when they started taking features away from S21 and S22 (SD card and headphone jack) instead of making them better. I sold my S21 and bought a second hand Oppo X2 pro for $350. I couldn't believe how good this phone is. It's older than the S21 but has similar OLED screen and better/faster camera in my opinion. It doesn't have headphone jack and memory card either but I have 512GB storage so won't need an external card.

  I can only imagine that X3 pro and X5 pro are going to be much better than X2. The only thing I can't justify is $1800 price tag. If you are coming from S10, you will see a huge jump in quality to even the X2 pro. Maybe save some money and get a second hand one in good condition?

    Very helpful thanks! I'm going to keep an eye on EoFY deals and see which of the Oppo phones have the best deal

  Oppo, Samsung, and Google flagships are all suffering thermal issues and bad performance due to their CPU. Because they are all produced by Samsung which is well behind the TSMC in terms of technology.
  There is a reason why TSMC is Apple's first and only choice as there are no better options.
  Snapdragon 8 gen 2 is going to be produced by TSMC, so better battery life and stability are pretty much guaranteed.
  Better stick with Samsung but only if you can get the Snapdragon variant of S23 next year and not the Exynos.
