Looking for a good independent service centre for BMW/European vehicles in Melbourne.
Any recommendations in the inner east area of Melbourne? Have been servicing my car at BMW Doncaster but since going off their service plan, the prices they charge are $$$$.
Not looking for the cheapest but somewhere that is fairly honest/won't purposely rip you off etc

Unfortunately, there are many mechanics out there that rub their hands together with glee when these type of vehicles are booked for service …
DIY
Definitely the way to go on an older car, but if you care about resale value on a late model, I think it can be worth getting a reputable mechanic to do it.
If you don’t plan on selling it until it’s old, then agreed, DIY is a good idea.
The only people I trust to service our 2 Mercs is F.W. Graunke in FernTree Gully. Not inner east I know but well worth the extra drive.
Family run authorised MB service centre that has been around for over 40 years and is now run by the son, Rolf.
None of these exorbitant dealership labour charges of $286ph, or only only using "genuine" MB parts. Having said that they only use parts they are prepared to stand behind in terms of quality.
Always prepared to offer advice over the phone as well.

Can recommend a couple of BMW specialists.
EB Prestige in Clayton is fantastic, I’ve heard them recommended several times, and my experience when I went there was good. Emmet was honest, transparent on pricing, and able to answer all my questions. They’re in Clayton South which might be a little far from you, unfortunately.
BM Autowerks in Oakleigh is also pretty good, although they’re a bigger shop which likely means a little less consistency, and higher pricing.
Eastern BM - I've had 2 BMW's and Jin at Eastern BM is absolutely flawless with knowing his BMW's. Look up his Google reviews and you'll see what i mean.
