Aren't those fans normally $69 for a two pack? https://www.pccasegear.com/products/52792/thermaltake-toughf…

    • They are, and they’re pretty good alternatives to noctua.

This is a CPU cooler including 2 fans. Not just the two fans which are also sold separately for $69.

Yeah kinda what i was getting at.

So they are. Good value then.

  • Good enough to cool 5900x at stock?

    • Good for processors up to 180w, so yes.

  • How does this compare to the Thermalright PA120 SE? It's $64.99 on Amazon and supposedly equal to the Scythe Fuma 2.

    • prob a bit late since the Thermaltake now appears to oos but the Thermalright PA120 SE is now sold for only $50 shipped on ebay (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/334256102500)

unfortunately couldn't find any english reviews of the PA120 but on paper it has the bigger and better heatsink than the toughair 510 (dual tower, six 6mm heatpipes vs single tower four 6mm heatpipes). the pa120 is 157mm tall so it can also fit inside an nr200 with glass panel (<158mm) unlike the toughair 510. The toughair 510 however has better fans (much higher rated static pressure). That being said, u can always put some artic p12s around on the pa120 to get better perf. regardless for $50 it is a much better buy than the coolermaster 212

for reference the fc140, which is the bigger brother of the pa120, seems to be slightly worse than the d15 (https://youtu.be/xPcgtPFNPHc?t=508)

      • Damn I paid the $65 for it. I didn't think anyone stocked Thermalright on eBay. Just got it today and put it in, Seems very sturdy and the heatsink looked very smooth. Haven't been able to try it yet though as I am still waiting for the computer's RAM to be delivered.

      • For MSY you have to set your state. Online is oos but NSW isn't.
