Looking for 75" TV - Budget 2.5k

Hi Ozbargainers,

What is the TV of choice for Ozbargainers, budget is 2.5k and currently on the lookout for TVs for EOFY.

What TV would you recommend? Will also be hooking up my Sonos bar and Phillips hue sync box for the surreal lighting experience.

    Are there no Philips TVs with the Hue systems build in to avoid the need for a box.

    Ambilight TVs?

      I haven't seen many Philips TVs down here. Lots in Europe though.

      Nothing I have ever seen! The Phillips hue sync box is for smart lights sync

        They are popular everywhere but Australia it seems. The built im ambilight tvs have been around for years everywhere else.

        Can hook up Hue lights and strips etc without the overpriced hue sync box

        Harvey Norman have a 4K 75" philips ambilight tv compatible with hue lights etc for $1500

          Wow looks like you are right! I can't find any reviews on the quality of these TV but wow I'm baffled it exists. Unfortunately already purchased the hdmi sync box…! Got too excited

            @hawked: Let me know if the sync box is worth it.

            I already have a bunch of hue lights and tossing up on buying the sync box or a philip ambilight tv

      I wouldn’t buy a Sony after all the threads we’ve had about their tvs failing and Sony telling them to get stuffed
