You can upgrade the SSD for this model, which is a definite plus. But you cannot upgrade the RAM.
Given the specs the price seems competitive, but only if you need an Apple. And then the question is, why do you need this model?

Having said all that, I'm on a 2014 15" MBP right now. Still very quick browsing websites and normal functions. I mainly use Windows PCs but the the build quality and experience on this old computer is still really good. The screen is gorgeous. With a good selection of ports and magsafe (compared to the model that followed) no issue with the keyboard (compared to the model that followed) it is still a solid computer and great for normal work. Apple makes it hard though as anything with a M1 chip in it and a decent size screen (15/16") is a lot of money.
Common price for these on gumtree is around $450. No deal.
