    Same coupon. Not unique

  • $1233 on Amazon

Can try pricematching it but not too sure if JB has caught onto it yet from the Bose QuietComfort deal

waiting for a fenix 6 Solar Sapphire special, but doubt one will eventuate

    • +1

Unobtanium in the Fenix 6 range - they never put solar and sapphire together.

      • This is correct. The Fenix 7 has Solar Sapphire, but the Fenix 6 series was either solar or sapphire glass.

Coupon works on the Amethyst color as well.

Wish it was the 6 Pro Solar and not the S.

    • What's missing that you want?

      • +1

6S is smaller than the 6. 6S likely most suitable for women's wrists, and the 6 for men's

        • +9

          Luckily I'm a man with women-sized wrists

        • +1

I think the 6s also has a smaller battery?
But that just might be me.

          The 6X is ridiculously big.

          • +1

@Drakesy: Correct. But since this unit is solar, it should have far superior battery to the normal line.

6X is chonkers but manageable (I bought one a few months ago when it popped up on ozbargain)

      • After the larger one, but not so large to get the 6X

  • +1

You may find the 6 solar comes on special soon. It’s a bit of a roundabout with Garmin watches.

    • 6 solar is only $70 more at Amazon, but if you're going for the solar, may as well stump up for the sapphire edition as well i guess.

      • It's not a Pro though.

        • In the 6 lineup, the pro / pro solar / sapphire have the same bells and whistles. It's the non-pro/sapphire that is lacking.

          • +1

@yojabbajabba: In Australia all solar models are Pros but this is a UK grey import.

This one is solar without the Pro.

Try calling your local JB store for the best price, and then getting the JB sales rep to send you an SMS link to your phone. That way you can still get it for a better discounted price

    • What did your local JB do for you? Do you have a receipt which you can share?

      • +2

I called and tried if they could price match with "Gregory Jewellers" but they said they couldn't. So I asked what's the best price they could give me and the sales rep said their best price was $1100. I agreed to that price, and got them to send me an SMS link. I applied the discount code above on that link and got it down to $300 total

        • +1

          That's an awesome bargain!

        • I got a different experience. I tried to price match with Amazon, and the phone rep told me straight out that they currently have a $800 coupon that brings the price down to $699. He sent me an SMS payment link of $699 with the coupon applied to it….damn

          • @Ebaygiftcards: Haha. I will try my luck tomorrow.
Ooops i realised that this deal ends tonight.

        • same with Ebay below, no dice for me

  • +1

For those chasing the slightly larger one, for $70 more the 6 solar can be had at amazon

    Here

    • But that is non-Pro, no?

      • +1

Also being shipped frem UK so may need to purchase AU & NZ maps

      • +2

In Australia all solar are pros so sometimes there is confusion. This is a UK listing and the UK did have a solar standard model.

That's a long way of saying this is not a Pro.

        • Difference between standard and pro?

          • +3

@Drakesy: Pro has WiFi, Maps, Music, Golf Maps

  • Thanks OP. Was just looking at this watch last night. Wife will be very happy.

  • Watch for tiny wrists

  • If you have a pile of Qantas points, the Fenix 7 base models (both 7 and 7s variants) are currently going for ~128k points (after 30% off) in the Qantas store until Thursday. That's pretty solid value for a near-new model.

Just picked mine up after ordering it the other day, the guy I spoke to had no issue price matching Gregory's so in the end $99.

    • Insane price
