Xiaomi Mi Casual Daypack - Bright Blue or Pink $9.99 (Import) + Delivery (Free with Kogan First) @ Kogan

170

On sale is this Xiaomi backpack available in the colours Bright Blue or Pink. Since it's a daypack it's smaller than a normal backpack and has 10L capacity. I won one a while ago from AliExpress and use it for carrying my eScooter chargers when out riding and it's not too bulky. This would be suitable for kids too.

  • Large 10L capacity
  • 4-levels of water repellent design, resisting rain and splashing
  • Water-repellent fabric and waterproof YKK zippers
  • 3 small outer storage bays discreetly keep small items
  • Double stitching at the front of the bag for added strength
  • High quality NX Lite plastic elements and buckles
  • Cotton adjustable shoulder straps and EPE foam pad for even more comfortable wearing
  • Compact and ultra-light
  • Simple and generous design

Have the grey version, perfect for a little daypack while travelling. Something to put your power bank, umbrella, bottle of water etc. into.

It's actually too small for an adult, i use this to go gym and tbh i want a bigger one.
It's smaller than a normal backpack but it can barely hold a bottle of water on the sides and feels like it's always packed inside, even though you have very few things.
Feels more like a purse lol

Yep that's what daypacks are ;)

@Clear: Yep, that's why i mentioned it, to show that i acknowledge it.
There's a 'but' there though that was actually the purpose of that sentence.

Do i really have to ELI5 this to you?

            • @nikoris: Unsure why your were downvoted here tbh.
Ozbargain is getting very troll like lately

I have one, actually surprised at how much a can cram into the thing.

Visually and aesthetically perhaps it may be considered too small for an adult by some. The functional capacity for something of it's form factor though, (10L) I remain kinda impressed.

I often pack 4-5 days worth of clothes in it, basic toiletries, battery bank, and other misc small bits. I'll agree that a water bottle is a tight fit once it's full and feels like it will fall out with how little it's covered, but it hasn't failed me yet.

Crazy value for 10 bucks. Excellent utility if you have the right expectations of how it'll fit your purposes.

I mean, if you're a girl weighing 45 kilos, it might fit five shorts and five tank tops, you're right.
Also, if you fit 4-5 days worth of clothes in a daypack, how many will you fit in a proper backpack? Clothes for the month?

Its literally just a 10l daypack, no magic there. Just a smaller backpack, for whoever has the use for it.
I'm just saying to people this cant replace a backpack, it fits way less and afaiac it doesn't really serve any purpose. No real gains just because its smaller.

Besides you vastly over-estimating the fabric volume difference of the average joe vs jill.
I'm 60kg, pack a few regular ol' shirts, underwear and a pair of shorts along with other items mentioned… and a travel towel often enough.

Nobody here saying it does? Seems everyone already understood that it's a small/10L pack. You haven't provided much useful additional information from OP (The bottle comment holds water for wider bottles though)

it doesn't really serve any purpose

It clearly does. OP gave an example, you gave an example, I've given you one, etc. Historically a semi-popular item on ozb, you can take a look at the many comments here and on other posts if you lack the imagination.
