Great, thanks OP. Was looking at it on Amazon Prime just yesterday but it was not yet included with Prime. Now it is. Movie for the night is sorted! :)

  • +12

I'd rather watch Die Another Day and that's saying something.

    • +2

Even Halle Berry and the Vanquish couldn't save that one

    • +2

There's a fan edit of DAD that removes some of the sillier parts, makes it a much better movie.

  • +20

I'll probably get downvoted for this but I dont care

Casino Royale was the only good Daniel Craig movie.

    Also, Timothy Dalton was underrated.

    • +6

      I agree with the latter.

    • +1

While Quantum of Solace wasn't the best Bond film, I enjoyed it from the aspect that it followed on from what CR brought to the table as a reboot.

Skyfall (while being visually stunning) onwards went back to the over the top that culminated in nonsense like Die Another Day.

    • Agree with both.

    • Yep truth

    • +1

I quite like the living daylights.

    • +3

Exactly! I forking loved Casino Royale. Its still the Bond movie I have re-watched the most. I was expecting an amazing Craig series but it was all crap after that.

    • +1

The Dalton movies suck far less than whatever is going on now. As much as Dalton was the least charming Bond ever.

    • Skyfall wasn't bad I thought but these two movies were the only good ones. Craig's movies really do take the fun out of Bond.

People said Timothy Dalton was too dark and serious as Bond yet Craig takes it to the next level. I would've loved to see him in more movies.

  • +1

Normally I hate these posts, but I like this one because I've been waiting for it to be added. Have a Positive vote from me.

  • +9

    No time to watch

    • +3

      Or read the comments, evidently

    • Ha true, not very original.

Sounds like it's probably not the best movie but will check it out anyway - at least didn't pay to see at the cinema. Probably better than matrix resurrection (also out on HBO recently).

Haven't noticed if prime has much 4k atoms content on there yet.

  • Odd good.
    Even bad.

  • Thanks. This is one of the better Craig, Bond films

  • +3

Havent seen this yet, but if its worse than QoS… that takes a fair effort.

    • It's a lot better than QoS. QoS ranks near DAD imo, but NTtD is probably in my top 13.

  • -3

Upvoting just to piss off those complaining this is not a deal. Thanks op!

  • Was looking for subs since a a couple weeks. Thank a ton.

  • Are the rest of the 007 movies on there yet? I wonder why Bezos paid so much for MGM if we didn't get all the Bond movies already.

    • +1

      Yes all added today

      • Sweet. Time to delete my totally legit 4k bluray backups.

        • I wouldn't, not that much uhd contents on Amazon by the look of it

  • +6

I'm more of a Johnny English person, James Bond's achievements can't stack up against Agent English. He's a man for all seasons.

  • +7

    This movie was hot trash

    • +3

I reserve that moniker for Tenet.

  • +4

One of the worst bond films till date. Give it a miss

  • Epic!

  • +2

I liked it. Certainly better than Quantum of Solace and Spectre.

Casino Royale remains easily the best of the Daniel Craig era, and one of my favuourite Bond films of all time.

    • T was such a miss that QoS was such a poor follow up, was that during the writers strike of the 2005/6?

    • +1

      Agree, casino Royale was great.
Anyway lot of conflicting comments on here.
7.3 on IMDb so I'll watch it for free.

Doesn't appear to be in 4k unless I missing something.

    • Casino Royale is a masterpiece, which would be hard to top. Eva Green is my favorite bond girl.

      • +3

Golden eye was good too, and the n64 game:)

        • I can't believe there isnt a seperate thread just on Goldeneye! Greatest Bond movie of all time. So many funny lines. Just watched today with my 13 year old son who thought it was good too.

    • I liked it too. It's no Casino Royale or Goldenye, but better than previous Bond films.

I never knew we had such distinguished film critics on OzBargain based on all the other replies.

  • -1

This movie is on par with the standard of quality set by Amazon Prime.

  • +1

Why does this have so many votes

    • +1

      No way to tell

    • The masses have short attention spans.

The Bond cohort are all over this thread correcting the record, though.

  • Prime scribes here. Shite movie though. Eva Green for the next Bond. Jane anyone?

  • +5

    Absolutely shit movie.

  • Thanks for sharing that info! OP

  • +4

Not a deal until they pay me to watch this movie. Worst Bond film to date, and I've seen them all at least 4 or 5 times. Glad that the rest of the library is on there though…

  • +2

“No Time to Die” - title is misleading…

  • +6

Just a heads up, Sicario (2015) and the sequel was added too.

  • I haven't had time to sit through it yet, so im glad its there for the future, win win

    • +1

But you never know with these subscription services. Could be here one day and gone the next.

      • have it on my plex server anyway, just when i cbf powering it up

  • My boy is on Amazon Prime now

    • +1

      Good for your boy

    • Couldn't see that show on there
      The boys?

  • It’s ok. A bit long , didn’t think it was that terrible.

  • +4

Worst Bond film of all time. That ending, sheesh. No wonder the original director said “you actually want me to kill off James Bond?” and quit on the spot.

  • -3

He dies at the end so they can't get another actor to play James Bond. RIP Mr Bond.

    • +1

      Reboot time.

Time for a new social aware, diverse, inclusive Bond who will probably be anything but white and male.

      Predictions?

      • End of the film is Bond's young daughter driving off into the sunset. Predicting a series reboot featuring a teenage Bond Daughter as the new lead.

  • Does anyone know how to watch US content on prime video? Just looking for British TV shows (eg DCI Banks)

  • -3

This was hands down my least favourite bond movie :(
Feels like they are trying to make it PC and appeal to everyone. I bet there will be cute fluffy creatures in the next one if this trend continues

  • -6

Best Daniel Craig’s James Bond movies…. The others are too rough with lots of violent scenes

  • +2

Just cos what has now been released on Amazon Prime is the newest Bond film, doesn't make it the actual "deal".
That the non-Craig Bond films are up there are the actual "deal".

    • Not a deal, but just something to note I guess. Better than paying to see it in the cinema.

People complaining don't have to watch it.

I just treat any streaming from Amazon as a bonus as I got the sub for free shipping. The catalogue, video and sound quality isn't up there with Netflix and HBO but they do have some other stuff.

  • +2

Give me some Pierce Brosnan any time of the day! Never enjoyed the self serious Daniel Craig interpretation of bond, sucked all the bond magic right out of the franchise as far as i'm concerned.

    • The First one of his was good, think of it more as a modern take on the bond series. The old ones were fairly classic though.

  • thanks, OP!

    • yeah literally thanks. not sure why everyone else is so negative about this.

  • +1

People complain about Kristen Stewart and her stupid non-expression throughout the Twilight franchise, but if you fast-forward through this garbage you'll see that James Craig has exactly the same expression the entire movie! He has the same expression in all his Bond movies.

Am I the only person who sees it?

I feel like Mugatu in Zoolander. "They're the same face! Doesn't anyone notice this? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!"

  • +2

    SPOILER ALERT

Just watched the movie and I'm a bit on the fence on this one. I've watched every Bond movie and whilst there are several actiors playing Bond, they essentially are the same person. Not sure how they are going to do it with the next Bond because for the first time ever Bond dies. Maybe there can be another bond in the multiverse. /s

For the first time ever Bond has become in touch with his inner feelings and emotions. The traditional Bond who never actually had a relationship is gone. I still enjoyed the movie but it had the feel of being woke, the script did not fit in with the Bond character. If you want to evolve a character don't do it in one movie.

I'm not against sex or sexuality where it fits in with the movie. But the hint that Q is gay had no place and there's a few signs in the movie that Q will take a bigger role in operations in the next movie, so I wouldn't be suprised if they bring in a boyfriend for a part. With the direction they are going perhaps the next bond could be transgender… the more victim groups Bond can belong to the better. /s

Anyway 6/10 for me. 2 marks lost because Bond died and another 2 for wokeness. Massive red flags for the next movie. I'm afraid I might lose interest with the next movie.

    • Either he didn't die and will somehow miraculously survive the missile strike or No Time To Die is the end of the James Bond timeline and other movies will have to fit within the timeline of the others, i.e. before he becomes a father, before Judi Dench M, etc.

It could be a tough sell if they keep the current supporting cast though.

  • Shame its only HD and not 4K

    • yes it surprises me how little 4k UHD+Dolby Atmos content there is on Prime.
It's great quality on Netflix and HBO max.

I just treat Prime as a free bonus and mostly paying for the free delivery service, but there are a few alright shows.

  • Had been waiting for this but fell asleep on the couch during it. Whoops.

  • +2

Watched it, been a Bond fan since back when Bond was considered a good role model. Connery would be turning in his grave. Given the end of the film I'd put money on Bond's daughter becoming the female lead re-boot for the franchise. Looking forward to a 53 Kg teenage Bond daughter out wrestling a 150 Kg KGB Bruiser in the door of a plane/train etc.

  • Wow. Really bad. Almost worth watching to see how much so…

Far too.much cgi (even the cat). Daniel.craig must have done the whole movie in front of a green screen

  • It's good with everyone whinging about bond, you forget how good The Batman is on HBO in ultra 4k and Atmos.
