  • not bad

I'm sure these tests are fine, but using a brand name fhat sounds like it's a shortened version of "Clunge Hygiene" isn't the smartest marketing choice…

    • +4

This is the only reason I clicked on this deal

    • +3

      Instructions unclear. Swabbing my clunge.

idk who downvoted you but this is funny. +1 for you

      • +1

That one downvoter must dislike Clunge

    • +1

      Hilarious!!

      • +1

I can't decide which is funnier.
Sarah Millican, or Mel B's disgust.

        • reckon it's multi layered…funny from all directions. They kind of complement each other. Can't beat the Brits for humour…t

    • +2

How the hell didn't I know about this show. I love British panel shows.

      • You must'nt've gone down the David Mitchell rabbit hole as much as I have on YouTube.

There's a whole world of stuff you'll discover

        • I have though! haha just somehow missed this one. Love the Unbelievable truth.

    • +1

      Clunge plunger. Gold.

  • +4

ah seems like yesterday one of these were selling for $20 ea

    • Still selling for ten dollars at supermarkets

      • +1

        wow, $10/test? They're must be dreaming !!!

  • "For those that need a covid test…"

I thought the tests were available free to those that needed them?

    • they are…. at least in WA

      • And Victoria

    • If you have a business and RAT test employees everyday the Govt supply won't hold up. Plus in WA at least there was heaps of delays in postage of Free RAT

  • Buy up now for the next variant!

    • +4

No need to wait for another variant. The daily numbers across Australia just now are scary:
      - Vic: 17 deaths, 533 in hospital
      - NSW: 11 deaths, 1,452 in hospital
      - Qld: 10 deaths, 459 in hospital
      and on it goes.

        • +3

How can you say that when people died yesterday, and the day before, and the days before that. How about a bit of compassion for those losing friends and relatives.

          • @GG57: Yes but not worth the whole of Melbourne/ Victoria locking up like 6 or 7 times a year. I don't think there's another country that locked an entire state this much

            • +2

@Fuzor: Of course, your freedom is much more important than someone's friend or relative.

              • @GG57: I don't think he implied that. I'm with you about lives but also agree we can't keep locking up states. Our economy just can't handle it anymore.
If people lose jobs people will lose homes and health quality which in turn will also cause more than just death.

                • @maverickjohn:

                  more than just death

                  ?

                  • @GG57: Financial state of the people and economy. Chronic illness leading to increased hospital burden. Just to name a few

              • -3

@GG57: Vaccination does not stop transmission of covid 19. So what your argument?

        • If I'm honest I had hoped OzB would be safe from cretinous conspiro nutters.

      • How is that possible with such high vaccination rates in Australia???????

      • -1

Considering the number of deaths and hospitalisation from other diseases each day, I would say the focus is actually quite disproportionate.

Clearly, Australia’s high vaccination rate, one of the highest in the world after a clearly successful program, ensures a very low rate of morbidity, even if the fact people still get it suggests it is a therapeutic rather than a vaccine.

  • What inflation? More like deflation

    • -1

The whole “crisis” was overinflated. We are now returning to equilibrium

  • Thanks op had to get some in an emergency last week and cost me $25 for 2!

  • Anyone ever tested positive with this brand?

I've used up a box over two months and it's always negative.

    • +5

I did when I had covid. This is very high sensitivity kit and for me this was better than any other brands

    • +1

Yes several times. Positive line came up faintly but within minutes

    • +2

Yes, can confirm it (within the last week)

Also tested the following brands while positive:

      Alltest nasal: very high sensitivity

      Testsealabs nasal: very high sensitivity

      Rightsign nasal: high sensitivity

    • +2

      Yes, daughter did.
You can look up comparative performance of the various RATs at the federal TGA. Very useful.

Shorter: this is one of the better ones.
