Cheap Speakers for the PC

Hi - I'm looking for a cheap, single speaker for an old-ish PC.

The PC is located in a noisy retail environment. When it receives a message or notification it "dings" but often we don't hear the ding, and so notifications are being missed. Volume is currently on 100% but it's just not enough.

Are bluetooth speakers such as the JBL Go2 able to be plugged into a PC?

I was expecting there would be a plethora of $10-20 solutions to this simple problem but it seems like everyone takes their sound seriously these days. Just looking for louder dings!

Get a bluetooth dongle so you can use bluetooth speaker?

  In a retail environment you don't want an unreliable connection like Bluetooth for important notifications.
  
  A long 3.5mm cable to a prominent location is a better choice - but most Bluetooth speakers have an AUX input which works.

Op shops usually have computer speakers for a few $.
