  • Love mine. Can't wait for a few new games to hit.

  • I have a confirmation email that my Pre-Order has been secured.

It also says that you can trade in the Xbox One X for $250, Xbox One S for $200, and Xbox One S All Digital for $150.

  • Just had my order cancelled and $200 refunded :(

I put my order in at 11:14am, three minutes after it was posted on OzBargain.

I wonder if it's anything to do with the fact that it is I got a Series X at launch from EB Games and it's strictly one per customer?

    • Yep.

Ive read similar reports here on Ozbargain of people trying to buy 2 ps5s under same eb account.

    • Almost definitely why.

I placed my pre-order long after you at 2 EB Games locations (I didn't think my first order went through).

So I placed another pre-order at the next closest EB Games and that went through.

Then, later, I noticed that EB Games took 2 × $200 deposits, so I knew the preorders went through, but I read that if you buy, trade, sell, etc the same item in 14 days you can have the EB World points (carrots) taken away for the first and any other transactions on the same item.

So, because I only wanted one console (plus the fact that if I got 2 it would not double my EB World points) I canceled the second preorder.

I got the console the following Friday, but I'm still waiting on the $200 refund of my second preorder I canceled (which I canceled probably half an hour of the first preorder).

  • Anyone who jumped on this received their order yet?

    • +1

I got mine in the store the following Friday. Ring their national number (I forgot what it is).

      • Thanks mate. I was expecting a call at some point, but maybe I need to call them…

        • Definitely. it shouldn't have taken that long.

          • @BooYa: Spoke to EB Games. They reckon they tried multiple times to contact me (which they didn’t, not even once) so they sold my unit to someone else. Now I have to wait for the next shipment. What a stitch up…

            • +1

@Link: Sorry to hear it. But next time, definitely confirm your order through the national number, and maybe check at least weekly (not with your local EB store) just to be sure (they will tell if and when your console has been delivered and to which store).

I guess staff at EB Games had another person they'd rather sell to.
