Was looking for a Fridge over the weekend. Found this dropped from $3199 to $2699 in store. Online price still advertised for $3199. Couldnt negotiate a free delivery but for a premium product a $500 discount off price seems reasonable.
Two stores visited in SA and both had same price tag so assume it is a promo other stores may be running.
Edit : Comes with 5 Year Parts and Labour Warranty. Plus another 5 years on Compressor.

Reviews say made in Japan?
Some of their fridges are made in Japan others in Thailand. Depends on the model.
I bought this fridge more than 1 year ago & IMHO it's the best fridge I've had to date.
Btw, it has a 5 yr warranty.

Black glass is the worst colour, fingerprints show up everywhere.
Sorry this is not a deal this has always been $2,699 until they recently jacked up the price to $3,199 I even paid $2,509.10 for the Grey one from Bing Lee eBay last month not to mention you can always use 5% of eBay coupon when these are back in stock at Bing Lee eBay
I guess part of the inflation with everythin going up.. all retailers have this currently priced for $3199. Also Bing Lee does not post everywhere, at least they dont post to SA. The only retailers in SA are Spartan Electrical and Harvey Norma. Spartan said their best price was $3099 + delivery. So this is definitely a deal someone can use against the current advertised price.
Didn't know Bing Lee don't post to SA. I've been watching the prices for this fridge for a while before pulling the trigger last month. Increasing by $500 is a lot it makes the Mirror Glass a better deal and that went up by only $300
HVN will do the white or Mirror Glass for $3200.. they are slightly different as have automatic doors. I personally did not like the automatic doors and feel that makes it another part that can break. They do look amazing though.
@Megatron: I think this model does not have automatic door when I checked it in their store. Automatic ones are more expensive. Also the prices in Vic are the same the website unfortunately.
I got this LG (after reading reviews) with cold water, standard ice cubes, craft ice (round balls) - 635L and absolutely amazing .. for $2100 (this was plumbed and there is non-plumbed model as well)

I have the Mitsubishi branded version of this fridge, and it's a nice fridge but as per @Briefcase Mong's post, it has been conssistently selling for $2600 for a few years.
I would advise against the black as well if you have kids as the concealed handles are too inconvenient for them and you will be forever cleaning grubby fingerprint marks.
Can also confirm that this model is made in Thailand. The Flexi-drawer models are made in Japan and they are very different products.
Yep agreed this is just RRP price as it has always been. Oh wow didn't know the drawers are made in Japan I'm looking forward to receiving my new fridge in a few weeks :)
Not the drawers in this fridge, but there are different models that used to be called the "Flexi Drawer" range. This particular model is 100% Thai built.
