that's where all those Macpac jackets you purchased will come in handy

If you follow Wellington, you should bring your sheep. It will keep you warm.

  • Cmon Wellington win or draw

  • Is it just me but I can't access Ticketek's website for the past few hours, says site can't be reached as it took too long to respond.

    • I am able to access the site, using Desktop Chrome.

However, it looks like compulsory to get 4 tickets
I don't need that many, how do I get only 2 tickets?

      • Perfect for social distancing

        • It leaves me less choice because I can't choose 2 seats at a section with better views
and it doesn't let me to pick 4 seats in a row of 5 empty seats as 1 single seat will be left
I will have to pick somewhere in the back row

          • @AsukaST: Use code "MEMBERTHANKS" for a single ticket

      • "I don't need that many, how do I get only 2 tickets?"

You get a pair of scissors and cut your ticket in half!

  • A-League must be super popular if they're giving away tickets to the premiership decider

It's just that it's Melbourne City, really.

    • +5

It's Melbourne City's final game of the regular season. They are calling it the premiership decider because if City win then they will be crowned premiers, which is equivalent to the "minor premiership" in NRL or AFL. No one really celebrates this achievement in Australia.

It's hardly the same as giving away tickets to the grand final, but don't let that get in the way of your clever little jab.

  • Ah good. An extra $0.70 Shopback!

  • Oh Wellington is wonderful, we've got the wind the freebies and the phoenix

do i need to bring 4 ppl? what if i just bring myself and my child?

    • Can use code MEMBERTHANKS for 1 free adult ticket. I think normal kids under 12 tickets are free anyway.

single ticket code, kids go free, just do 2 purchases in the same area as you can easily move around - security dont bother trying to stop you

  • Is it worth going? (I get it's free…I mean, worth the time and effort)

    • -1

Its Melbourne City, the greatest team in the Southern Hemisphere. Of course its worth going.

    • If you enjoy football then yes. However I’d wait for the results of the Western and Victory games as this might be a dead rubber if they both draw or lose.

      • You’d think they should play all games at the same time for fairness and equality, but it is A League so nobody cares anyway.

        • It would be great, With a finals series in Australia though it is all geared towards that.

      • In that case the premiers plate will be presented on the night. Could be worth it for that spectacle

    • Bring a soccer ball if you do. They are allowing fans to have a kick on the pitch after the game

    • For sure, free tix good football and you can play on the pitch and meet the players straight after FT

  • Haha typical Melbourne City…just like its parent club in Merseyside, they are having to give away tickets for 'fans' to come watch them play.

Man City aren't in Merseyside though.

  • anyone got any tips for cheap parking at/near ammi park?
