Best iPhone 13 Deals Currently?

Lots of iPhone 11 and 12 deals going at the moment, anyone know what the best iPhone 13 pro deal is?

Best I can see is the standard jb hifi deals with a $300/$800 gift card on a $69/$99 dollar plan if porting in. Might hold out a bit and see if they do one of their $1000 gift cards but think that's about the best currently

Prices are all pretty close at the moment e.g. iPhone 13 pro 256gb prices are:

  • 1869 - apple
  • 1869 - jb hifi
  • 1869 - tgg
  • 1867 - office works

I know the 14 is coming up, but it's still 5+months away currently and I'll need a new phone before then

    Amazon AU.

Apple is very good at sustaining high prices. You're not going to get much discounts on them until many many years after launch. The lowest JB-HI-FI will go for iPhone's will literally be a few bucks off. It is that tight.

    • yeah, kinda what I was thinking. Might try and find some discounted gift cards, think that's about the only way to get it down any further

      • or get a 12?

        • Yeah, thought about that after seeing price differences lately but still keen for the 13

      • Do you really need the iPhone 13?

Why not get the iPhone 11/12?

        • iPhone 13 is a much better phone than 12 range. So it makes sense to pay a bit more for 13 over 12. iPhone 11 is $480 off with an Optus plan if basic phone is needed.

@CandyMan: Yeah for sure but you can get an iPhone 11 for $500 used.

Apple Store has $650 off any iPhone if you sign up to one of their plans in-store. I think it’s Vodafone and Optus.

  • Anyone managed to get JB to pricematch Costco? They are usually $50 cheaper than market rates, so $1819 for the 256gb: https://www.costco.com.au/Computers-Tablets-Mobile-Phones/Mo…

  • Do you really need a Pro? Base 13 is great, and lighter.

  • Im wavering between iPhone 13 and S22

    • Well I ended up getting the iPhone 12 but I don't think that helps you!

Got OW to price match for $977 on Telstra Day where Telstra had it for $1029. Couldn't bring myself to spend the extra $900 or so on the 13. I figure I'll trade it in or sell if the 14 is worth it, otherwise ill keep it for another year

      • Apple is clearly better quality and holds its value better, but I prefer a few things about Android like notifications, Google Assistant, widgets slightly better.

Funny enough, these are all things I thought I preferred with Android.

Both notifications systems have problems but iOS has improved since I last used it. I don't like the banner notification but each that can be disabled per app if need be. I like the concept of time sensitive notifications but seems like it will take some time/usage to set them up how I like them

I never used Google Assistant as I didn't like it but I think Siri has gotten better, or rather more apps support it better. For example, CBA banking app prompted me to setup a Siri shortcut for a regular transfer I make which was cool. Time will tell how usable it is though

Widgets, I afraid iOS has vastly improved and is better than android. Or at least for how I used them anyway. Much prefer the widget stacks in iOS, much better selection of widgets to choose from. This does depend on your apps offering them but even the default ones are better in my opinion

Shortcuts looks incredibly powerful but Ive still to use them really. This looks like what Tasker on Android should have been. Powerful and polished

This is all subjective of course and you may hate these things!
