Older game but might be of some interest at this price (equal lowest on Camels).
Price matching Harvey Norman Clearance, however it appears delivery only there.

Most definitely, yes. You don't need to have played the earlier games to enjoy this one. A no brainer at this price.
Cheers it's oos now. Will buy it next time
Fallout takes a bit of time to get used to, there’s a lot of skills and mechanics which you learn as you play. It might feel a little overwhelming in the beginning but you don’t need all of it to enjoy the game. Fallout 4 is fairly accessible and I think it will be enjoyable for a casual gamer
I probably wouldn't bother with a base game, get a full bundle with all DLCs. Gamivo and Eneba have it for ~$14 atm.
And then spend ~2 hours following the Midnight Ride mod guide before playing.
in b4 some1 says it is on game pass
TIL it's on gamepass :P
I don't even want to imagine what the modding is like over there however due to how limiting the file tampering is on everything GP =(
Microsoft now allows you to access game files for modding
Oh really? Nice! That's actually useful to know for loads of stuff I had issues with in the past (editing FoV values in certain things..)
@Stoibs: Yeah, it was fixed a few months ago iirc. I’ve not tried modding games myself but I’ve looked into the folders and could see the files (instead of the “you don’t have access to this folder” message)
Great price. Game is mostly pretty good
Great game, lots of fun. Easy pick up for $5. Runs pretty well on older hardware too (should run on all those Optiplex PC deals you get here if you slap a GPU in it, even a GT 1030 will do). Also lots of replayability with all the mods you can get.
this is still the best fall out of all time and still a great game today for 5 bucks its a no brainer.
I have fonder memories of New Vegas
Combat is definitely massively improved in 4 but the story, factions, characters and locations are much more interesting in New Vegas imo
I personally didn't enjoy NV as much as 3 or 4, idk. They're all decent with their own perks. 4 has better combat and mechanics but 3 and NV arguably have a better story/locations IMO. Either way, they're all great fun and modding is available (and alive) with all of them.
Same here, NV is probably my favourite game ever, but over time I've come to appreciate the modern Fallouts as being good in their own ways and are all well worth playing:
3: Great exploration and atmosphere with excellent replayability across the Good/Neutral/Evil karma choices. Random encounters really add a lot of uniqueness to each playthrough.
NV: Excellent writing, lore, reactivity to choices, and role-playing where your build really matters - no two playthroughs are the same.
4: Change of focus to become more "open world action"-oriented, with much better combat in an improved engine with fun exploration and base-building mechanics. Far less buggy than the other two above, possibly because a lot of the reactivity was taken out of it but still with hundreds of hours of addictive content.
Damn, not a lot of love for Fallout 2 in here, my personal favourite =(
I guess of the new first person.. sort-of-rpg games though NV would be my best pick also, little wonder with members of the original team onboard :P
The classic Fallout games will always remain so, brother. Not mentioned above but only because I suspect the modern titles are their own beast and have the hybrid PC/console popularity. NV is such a great direct sequel to 1 and 2 :)
for me it goes
+FO Tactics
+FO NV
+FO 1
..
..
..
+ the rest.
its Oblivion with guns…
Is it worth $5 for a casual gamer?
The only reason I asked is that I was going to jump on the BF game but was put off by the comments.
