Spacerail Marble Toy Rollercoaster (5m) $7.99 + Delivery (Free Delivery for Kogan FIRST) @Kogan

390

I was bored and browsing the Kigan site and came across this… after a quick check, it looks like it's the cheapest it's been as far as Ozbargain posts…

I have a feeling that shipping might kill the deal (I think it's $11.99 which is a rip) if you don't have Kogan FIRST. but everyone on Ozbargain should have the Kogan Black credit card that gave you $400 free credit a couple of years ago! (plus Kogan FIRST membership)

Anyways, it seemed like a decent deal to me and worth posting.

This exciting toy rollercoaster provides endless fun!

DIY construction – a rewarding challenge!
Elevator keeps the rollercoaster moving
5m of exciting track length
The 5 included marbles can perform 360-degree flipovers and incredible steep drops
The DIY Glow in the Dark Toy Rollercoaster is bound to delight children and adults alike. Enjoy the challenge of putting it all together, with the end result being an impressive rollercoaster set that you can be proud of!

This rollercoaster set comes equipped with an elevator that takes all the pieces from the bottom back to the top in a continuous loop

Hmmm, kinda want to get this but no where to put it and might use it only once

      That's the OzBargain spirit!

I bought 3 after reading a post about connecting the sets to make a huge one hahaha…. I'm sure I'm going to get into trouble

        • what did you mean by elevator one?

The non-glow in the dark one was the cheapy and has an elevator for the marbles as well…

      • Let us know how it went (the trouble, not the build)

        • I didn't get in trouble at first. I told the wife I bought her a present, and she liked it until I mentioned that I bought three of them and also posted that I'd get in trouble. So I think I got in trouble for saying I'm gonna get into trouble.

Haven't tried it yet.. waiting on the other sets to arrive.

I want the big one from Northland shopping centre. If you know, you know :)

I got this for my son a few years ago, it's terrible. Instructions are impossible to follow and when we did manage to throw something together it was so flimsy it didn't hold the marble and broke.

Got this, it was a PITA but we did build it fully. Had the mother of all migraines afterwards, not sure if it was the smell, stress or not connected.

Since then its been back in the box and will probably never be made again!

Smell comment is fascinating. Don't hear that too often. Ordered!

Absolute rubbish never purchased anything with poorer instructions and more customer unfriendly

Difficulty level ideal for children 15+

What about 27 year old children?

If this was scaled up full size it would make a great and unique rollercoaster ride at a theme park, change the marbles to those Zorb clear plastic balls that you climb inside and roll downhill in, and it would be one thrilling ride. ©️

Bought one. Pretty awful thing to get working. Ended up in the bin

Wow I ordered then read the comments, order cancelled!

Daughter got one as a gift, terrible instructions. Didn’t bother finishing it and just chuck it in the bin.

Sister in law bought as a gift. Sister in law clearly hates me…also ended up in the bin

Do you put all your in laws in the bin?

  • i've got leftover of $13.99 from their credit card deal i have no idea what to spend on. A pair of havaianas or 2 sets of these.

  • Also spent hours of frustration with one of these under the scrutiny of excited children. Way too flimsy.

I had one major triumph once getting a ball to make a complete circuit after multiple adjustments, but then something must have moved slightly and it fell off the next time.

  • Agree with the comments on this. Instructions for these are balls. Mines still sitting in it's box and will probably stay there forever

  • With the Kogan Black credit card is the Kogan First membership free for a year or as long as the card is active? That's pretty enticing if it's as long as the card is active. Can seem to see anything in their terms.

  • Bought one last time. Flimsy as f, pain to make. Get one little connector an umpteenth degree wrong and marbles goes everywhere.
Once assembled properly it's a nice but noisy desk distraction.

A real dust collector and due to complexity impossible to clean without having to realign it every time.

Would've been more fun if it had only one rail..

  • This was mad fun to build!! Don't know why people were complaining about it being tedious… It's working out mad.. occasionally the balls get stuck but it's been going for a good solid 3 mins so far
