Why do you want to know?

iCloud for me since it's seamless with iPhone. Note that iDrive is a completely different third party offering.

    Google has 15Gb free cloud.

    • Just remember that 15 GB is shared across all Google services - Drive, Photos, Gmail, etc.

Users can add an unlimited number of accounts.

        15Gb * x = free unlimited ☁️ storage.

          Fair point.

Wonder how long before Google cracks down on that (probably a while since it's unlikely to be a significant number of people doing that).

          • @Chandler: Yep they will get everyone in, then do a photobucket on all users.

        • so you would create for example three extra google accounts and then have all three (plus your existing main one) logged in on your phone? How would the photo app know which account to upload the photos to?

Or would you wait until your main account is full, create a new free account and tell the photo app to use just the new one, then you'd need to re-do all of your face tagging / groups etc?

@cimrak: You can use the 15Gb as 📂.

The files will be searchable across all accounts on your devices.

  • iCloud and OneDrive, I have 2TB plans with both.

    iCloud
Don’t even have to think about it

iCloud - weird it isn't one of the options.

  • iCloud

  • Mega drive

OneDrive is by far the best value given it is inclusive of the MS Office suite.

  • iCloud, it all happens automatically, works great and isn’t expensive.

  • None, at least not for photo storage.

    Google Photos for me.

  • Multiple.

OneDrive because It's free with my 365 subscription.

Google photos because it used to be free and I had 15 years saved there. Now I pay $2 a month for extra storage. It's super convenient to have them all in the one place with googles search

Apple iCloud photos because I have an iPhone and it's seamless. I pay for the 200GB plan but now have more than 200GB of data there so I delete the oldest photos from here to keep it under 200gb every few years.

Google photos with a Pixel device.

  • GoogleDrive - resized

  • I wonder how long it will be for other photo storage sites/clouds/bizzo's etc to do a photobucket on users.

  • Google Photos. Extremely useful for travelling when locations are turned on so I can see them in the Google Maps timeline of where they were taken.

  • I don't think Samsung Cloud exist anymore.

    They 'integrated' with OneDrive.

Amazon Prime US, unlimited storage :P

    • Had it in Canada too but since moving to Oz, they don't offer this for their prime

      • You buy US Prime instead of AU prime, then you have it ;)

        • Prime US is far more expensive than Australian Prime however so it's really not a good deal

  • on iPhone and using Google Photos, is there a way that after a photo has been uploaded, if I delete that photo from my iPhone it also deletes it from Google Photos?

As in, I take 100 photos. They’re uploaded to google. I then cull then photos to 10 on my iPhone, and the other 90 are also deleted from google?

I realise I could not upload them, but sometimes I do it just in case something happens

    • I use this functionality but in reverse.. ie. if I delete a photo from Google Photos it also deletes it from my phone gallery.

      • Hello brother!

I know it works in reverse, but was hoping it also works in the way above… I don’t think it is possible, but was hoping someone had a way

Like I’m on holiday now, I’ve taken a crap load of photos. I’ve uploaded them to google, and on the plane home I intend to go through them and delete

  • NAS > External HDD in secure location (updated regularly) (some discs)

If I had to pick cloud, OneDrive - but I don't trust anything personal on any cloud.

  • IDrive is the best solution to store your photos online. Furthermore, you can contact to a IT consultant who can help you to select the right cloud based photo saving service.
