    I'm not 100% sure but one of the hexagons has controls and the power supply goes into that specific piece.

    You need to buy the powersupply and control piece. I don't see them sell it separate as accessory, but you can always contact their support and ask if they sell it separately. Support with nanoleaf has been excellent in my experience when getting my controller replaced.
