G'day everyone.
This one pops up every now and then and gets debated every time, so I was wondering what the 'powers that be' think….
Sure staff sales are exclusive to staff, but in the case of something like Woollies staff discounts, there are thousands of staff out there and it covers people who work at Woolworths/Safeway, Big W, Dick Smith etc…
Then you have many people who have relatives or friends who have a card and can purchase for them.
That's a lot of people.
Posts about a meal discount at some place in a specific city are allowed, but surely the Woollies discount would reach more people and benefit more people in reality as the sales are national.
Anyway, just thought I'd put it out there as this one for example, pops up every now and then, like today and is instantly debated.
Have a good one. :-)
We don't remove staff deals but rather move them to the forums as per our guidelines. Through my work, also a big organisation employing thousands, I get discount on products. It's really a perk of working there and not accessible to the general public. Sure, I can buy stuff on behalf of friends but it isn't meant for the public. Hmm time to make friends at the brewery.
EDIT: The latest staff sale is in the forums
