NBN has been "To Be Confirmed" for 10 days now...

I'm with Telstra NBN

What happened?
Confirmed Network issue. We're working to get service restored as early as possible.

I'm paying quite some money here and all I get is a 10 days long TBC…

    Speak to your provider about compensation for downtime. They usually give you credit for the next bill.

      I will, but if you ever call Telstra you know, it will take me 2 hours before I can get into the line with a human being

        Call the complaint phone # - not a long wait and you get to speak with a human that is also in Oz

        Search forums here for previous posts in relation to Telstra issues & tips to resolve them

        not true. use the mobile app. it will be fast.

      • I know all about that man, I feel your pain. I sometimes wonder why I stick with Telstra myself.

        You can google around as people have suggested but if it's anything like the outages I've had with them then the only way it gets cleared up is by having the infuriatingly long call to their service department to remind them that you exist and they actually need to do work today.

    I had similar situation. 8 days no internet.
    Telstra.

    Keep all chat logs and dates and times you contacted telstra. Do it on live chat so you can at least be semi productive doing something else.

    The only thing that got results for us was raising a TIO case. Got a month of credit and internet fixed.

    They'll credit you for each day its down.

    Do you not have a smart modem? If so the 4G backup will kick in.

      Seems like OP has BYOed device, if you use the provided gear you have 4G backup!

      I always get 4G backup with NBN (old place and current). We all know how "reliable" the NBN can be.
