I bought one a while ago. The hose is very thin and crap, kinks very easily.
I ended up getting a Jamec Pem hose reel, much thicker and less link prone, very happy with it.
Thanks for feedback.
Did you compare Jamec Pem to Hoselink by any chance?
Also noticed a couple of reviews saying Jamec Pem water hose is restricting the flow.
It looks like hose inner diameter is 10.5mm compared to 12mm in Hoselink.
I have not seen a hoselink in person. I have avoided them like the plague because of the non standard fittings.
Probably making a mountain out of a molehill but my existing spray gun is clipped onto my house reel without an age adaptor, so there's that.
Pro Tip: grab one of these when they are next on sale.
OzBargain/Hoselink
Hozelock is another really good branch for this type of gear but neither Hoselink or Hozelock can be easily obtained for this price point. I have one of the large (30m I think?) Kogan Certa reels that work surprisingly well, but also owned one of the small ones which was crap. Lots of variation in the market
Agreed, I think that it does come down to budget.
I've owned so many sh!t hoses over the years that I'd manually loop and store every time I used them, cheaper ones kinking, moreso in higher temperatures.
I decided to bite the bullet, pony up and have zero regrets.
Not a huge fan of the Hoselink connections, but a cheap adaptor keeps my old accessories still useable.
Next Hoselink sale I'll be buying another one.
It's not a pro tip, you pay ×10 more so expect to last x5 more. It's like telling to buy a milwaukee tools.
Oh wait, milwaukee actually way better than hoselink.
Fair enough, it's my opinion, not a fact.
Unfortunatly, can't negative a deal based on opinion. Not everyone cashed up or have the same needs.
@boomramada: Fair enough
10x ?
Im guessing you failed maths at school
I did and passed applied maths at uni 😉 see we all mentally challenged at some stages of our lives.
Can I connect it to water tank?
Yes, you can, but you need a water pump.
Any comments about the quality?
