Hello everyone,
I've searched everywhere and cannot seem to find the best audiophile headphone that can be powered by my Phone/Laptop for portable use.
I jizzed over the thought of buying the Sennheiser HD800 for $1400 (probably the best headphone out there). But want closest quality possible without an amp.
I want something that is value for money but I don't want to sacrifice quality for cost. I want to treat myself and will last.
Last week I got my Adidas HD25-1-II in the mail from the $150 deal but thought they were fake. I'm pretty sure these aren't fake since no one else on OzBargain has complained. I guess I'm expecting to much from RRP$300 headphones. I want great sounding all rounder sound with a slight emphasis on bass.
Any ideas?

if you want something that is closed back and dont want an amp to drive it.. then
1. Audio Technica ath-m50
2. Sennheisser 449
i believe both should be about 150 dollar mark
however all you need is something simple to drive your hd25, ive got a fiio E17 which does a fantastic job driving the hd25 =) bought mine from addictedtoaudio for 155 including L9 LOD
