Did they remove Zangief for political reasons?

It's ok, he is from USSR.

      • This is seriously jeopardising the game

just because he is a bad guy does not mean he is a bad guy

        • who will crush man's skull like sparrows egg between thighs?

Ryu: (Quarter Circle Forward + Punch)

  • Is this game still played online at all?

I was a monster at Third Strike, don't @ me.

    • Can't say for sure for this edition, but 3rd Strike is still played by several people in Australia on Fightcade2. With rollback netcode, it's possible to play people a bit further away as well

Bought this game last time it was this price for nostalgia purposes. Played it three times lol.

I actually found it difficult, used to destroy at it, but can't even get to the final four on this version.

I can't even reliably get dragon punches out anymore! My brain thinks I can do it but instead I get jump kicked in the face.

I beat the original SF2 for old times sake, but I have a secret weapon: one of those SNES controllers for the Switch.

But the 15.98 was worth it just to finally be able to utterly crush my 11 year old in a videogame for once. Hadn't been able to for years 😂.

But in streetfighter I've got about 100 hours practice on him, from back in the day, plus about 10,000 hours of watching other people play when I had no money.

A couple of years ago, caught up with an old school friend at a party. They had an arcade emulator, so I select Street Fighter 2 and proceeded to destroy the kids at the party at it.

My friend said, are you going to take it easy on them?
I responded with nope, kids gotta learn, while laughing.

They got bored at losing and the kids chose MK3, still kicked their butts!

Only games I will win against kids these days.

  • Bought Dragon Ball FighterZ on sale last time because I read that it was a better game than SF. Should I buy this or skip it? Also Switch or PS4 version?

    • I don't know if Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is worth it if you never played these games back in the day.

I still play them sometimes, and don't bother with any modern fighting games, but only because I loved these games as a kid.
