    I've been seeing a similar trend a lot recently.
    From what I can see, Amazon largely waits for deals to come out and then undercuts the company for same price (but free delivery with Prime). Which is in a way great short term for us, but I do worry about these companies longer term sales if Amazon ends with a monopoly by constantly undercutting them.
    I mostly say this because I see Harvey giving out a lot of "deals" recently on games that make me wonder if they're just getting rid of all video game stock and stay out of the video game market. At least where I am Harvey video game section is a joke (maybe stocks 7 games total across all systems).

      That is Amazon's playbook to the tee. They are EB Games with a semi-automated price matcher.

      But it's not that dire yet, HN isn't and was never a substantially player in games. It's not that dire if they drop out.

      Amazon also matches a few grey importers, you can see some times the prices are like "$XX.23", that's usually matching a grey import.

      People went back to local because the pricing improved but if it went back to $120RRP, grey imports would surge again and let's not forget who made you pay an extra 10% GST on those imports. Mr. Gerry Norman. And you know what, local pricing didn't improve because of that change, they actually dipped even lower than pre-GST imports, in the good old says of $69 launch titles. So Gerry didn't "need" that to be competitive, turns out he just wanted more money, go figure.

      So HN, overall, can clear out and (profanity) off.

    Most are sold out at HN so won’t be price matched. Hopefully Amazon matches Skyward Sword before it sells out
