Shares Research/Information - Brokers Calls

Hi OZB community

Is there a website that offers a free service with articles/research on shares and possibly broker calls from the various fund managers in Australia.

I have used Morningstar previously but they have an annual fee of about $500 from memory. I don’t actively trade so it’s hard to justify this price.

Thanks in advance

Benny

Sorry, I don't invest in 💩stonks with intrinsic value, a stable price, that makes profits and pays divs.

Stonks that has offices in California and around the world with 1000s of workers,
with things investors can touch like computers, desks, chairs, coffee makers, etc.
Thinks that makes stonks really 👍.

I prefer to hodl meme coins like Bitcoin that don't have intrinsic value,
are highly volatile, a Ponzi, a pyramid, a scam,
used by hackers and criminals for money laundering,
used to pay for drugs, guns, illegal pron, onlyfans and all the other bad stuff that happens in the 🌎.

        Ohh did I mention this?

BREAKING 💥 A second #Bitcoin ETF will now also list in Australia next week 💥

  • FNArena is pretty good

    • And is a paid service

      • Oops, forgot the word "free"

OP, you could share with like minded friends, that what I did in the past.

If a site is free and they recommend you shares, what do you think the product is?

    • That's also true of the non-free sites though.

I browse this on occasion. They post buy and sell recommendations from various broker analysts weekly.

  • CommSec gives you free access to a few brokerage reports. You can signup to it for free and don't have to be an active trader with them to use the other included services. They don't have a recommendations page but you can get more info on the stocks through their tools.

If you are unsure on what stock to buy have a look at ETF products where someone manages the portfolio and bundles the stocks at a discounted price. VDHG is a good buy if you're new to investing.

    • CommSec does have a recommendations page. It lists the buy/hold/sell ratings and target prices for Goldman Sachs and Morningstar, and also usually a consensus rating from a wider bunch of brokers, among other stuff.
