Amazon Prime Membership

I have Amazon prime and I think it expires sept, I recently signed up with agl and was given 12 months free prime.
I’m wondering if this can be added now to extend my current or do I need to use it prior to my current expiring?
I get charged each year but obviously as I have a 12 months free to use I would want to cancel any next payment that comes off.
I’m sure my 12 months free given by agl is valid after sept to use.’
But curious if I can extend currently with adding it and then maybe my next future payment will be after the agl one is done.
Hope this all makes sense

    I Applied AGL free prime to my account yesterday. The subscription will extend +12 months in addition to your current end date.

      Ok so you have a current paid sub and you added this deal to it and it now is extended?
      So your next payment will be the much later date or did you have to cancel any payment options incase.
      Just curious what steps you took to add the agl promo or anything I should know.

    Check the expiry date on your offer or look at FAQ. Southern Phone (part of AGL now) was running the same promotion and expiry is end of 2022.

      Yes 31st dec 2022, so my question is can I add it now to my current prime valid until I’m sure till sept or will I let it expire and cancel any future payments. Then use this offer.

      I just thought if it could be added now It would be to extend it’s expiry.

        Should stack. You can also set Prime to not auto renew and use the code when it expires.

        Yes, I added the code from AGL and it changed my renewal date from September 2021 to September 2022, so plus 12 months.

    Yes you can add the code now and it will auto extend your current membership by 12 months
