  • Amazing. 1TB data in this tiny microSD card.

    • Imagine if we could use them as extra storage on phones /s I held onto my Samsung Note 9 for that very reason :(

I have a Samsung S21 Ultra, from work. The worst thing about this phone is that there is no MicroSD card. The only reason that they dropped it from this phone (it was there in the S20) is because they are assholes and want to force people into buying phones with higher storage at a much higher premium.

My next phone will be a Sony because they still support micro SD cards. Other manufacturers do as well I encourage you to buy a phone with a MicroSD card and shun those that don't. It is completely illogical to consumers to have this feature removed.

        • Honestly companies don't lose much sales removing sd cards. Every other company has done it so consumers don't have much of a choice, nor do they care at this point. People wanting an sd is becoming a niche.

Paying more for a Sony phone, instead of just buying the highest storage makes perfectly good sense, I'm sure Sony is dying to get your money right now, they're closely following LG tbh.

I hope your crusade bring's back the SD card.

          • @krisspy: Thanks. I'll let you know how I go :D

        • Just got the Galaxy A53, which has expandable storage. It's only got 128GB built in, so I'm on the hunt for a good and cheap 128GB card to store all my photos and videos.

Coming from an Mi A2, it's nice having an expandable storage option. One UI is double the size of barebones Android. 40+ GB vs 20+ GB.

can i use this in ps5?

    • Even if you somehow managed to install this with some fancy unheard adaptor, the speeds would be way too slow

    • can i use this in ps5?

Use it for what? Media - probably. Games - no.

    • Yeah sure.

In theory with a bunch of adapter maybe and poor relative performance.. but WHY? You could get an SSD for less, a hard drive for less, there are so many better options that would be easier, faster, cheaper and overall better.

Do you honestly have to ask this question at every sd card deal? Jebaiting is getting old.

    • You will be playing your games in PS2 quality XD

  • Thanks, OP. Only 5 left…
