Qantas Points will be earned in installments of 5,000 points at the end of every 3rd month from your service activation date if you stay continuously connected, up to the maximum total of bonus points offered on your plan. For example, if your plan includes a total of 10,000 points, you’ll receive 5,000 points at the end of month 3, and another 5,000 points at the end of month 6 as long as you stay on the plan continously. Qantas Points may take up to 7 days to appear in your account.
well spotted, added to deal

This is not a bargain imo
Thanks OP
unfortunately none of these plans are worth signing up to, gone are the good optus days, 80gb, 4gb roaming, international calls $40, optus gone to poo poo now
My favourite used to be the 3G $2 a day deal. Sounds pricey now, but it was unlimited data and I used it as my home internet too (tethering). Went to upgrade at Optus and the guy told me to keep the sim, they were going on ebay for ~1k at the time(!).
Sadly it got phased out shortly after that.
So do you still have that plan? That's fricken awesome!
"Great Value" is very subjective. I wouldn't call their network anything close to great. And there are cheaper plans from other providers out there.
The only good thing is probably included Optus Sport and Subhub.
Considering the plan price and their network quality, I wouldn't call any current Optus plan "great value". If anything they are overpriced with shitty customer service.
No 5g on the 39 plan.
Looks like you need be connected long term to get the points
