Xero or MYOB and discounts?

Hey everyone,

I'm a new startup looking for some accounting software. I'm currently running a trial of Xero and just started one of MYOB, but thinking I'll lean towards Xero.

Wondering if there's any promos around or any partners that have deals with Xero? Not able to find much on the net.

Any help would be appreciated and if you have any experience with their and would recommend one, please do :)

    If there was an easy way to move myob essentials to xero I’d be out of there SO fast.

      The general consensus I've had is Zero is better, especially for non accounting types

        Crap software that bugs out all the time, price rises for a service that doesn’t actually improve, crap app. Poor customer service. Was not impressed with how my issues were dealt with last time.

          MYOB sounds just like Reckon….. But I guess they are both from the same era so makes sense.

    Looks like they tend to offer deals in June (i.e. just before end of financial year) https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/xero.com, but it wouldn't hurt to reach out to them to see if they can offer any discounts for new startups.
