I need a desktop stand for my Rode NT1-A microphone. My boom is too big and the cheap scissor stand too weak for the mic, gimbal and pop filter.
The Rode DS1 is sub $30 at a few places. The Samson looks good for about the same money.
I really had visions of a silver-stemmed gooseneck like from a '70s radio studio, but this one is $70 and I can't bring myself to do it.
Can someone offer a suggestion or, as often happens when the specialists join the conversation, convince me to spend the $70.
Thanks
Desktop Microphone Stand

The NT1-a looks more like an Amp/drum stand I have.
Try Swamp.net.au. I've bought a few boom arms, cables etc from them.
no stand is going to be better than a boom arm - all thumpy and sh1t
