Kaweco Student Rollerball Pen $45 (Was $119) + $7.99 Shipping @ Milligram

60
SECRETDEAL

Make your pencil case more musical with the nostalgic mid-century style of Kaweco's Student rollerball pen.

The Student's simple cream body and gold-tone chrome detail are a subtle, sophisticated canvas to highlight the deep blue of 50's Rock, the olive green of 60's Swing or the dusty red of 70's Soul.

Was $119 - Now $45 plus postage!

  • Shame it's not the fountain pen version, these look really nice!

Actually had a few dealings with Milligram customer service. They are absolutely awesome. This is a clever post a genuinely smart strategy as surely people won't pay $52.99 for the pen delivered when >$59 order is free shipping.

Musical as in it plays music as well? That's worth $45!

  • I just bought some days ago a Kaweco frosted sport pen for the wife via Ebay (from Peter of Kensington) for $30 delivered in a nice color. Wouldn’t spend more for that especially not this one on this color!

  • I bought and used the Lamy Safari fountain pens and tried some Kaweco sport (both kinda entry level, sub $50 fountain pens) when they were on sale at Peters of Kensington and they are far superior. Better ink delivery, better quality nib and less messy.

    Keen to try the rollerball

  • Fugly. Ouch.

That’s why it’s 45 and not 119. I wouldn’t even pay 20 for this pen tbh. The quality will be nice but the colours are shocking!

Such suggestive description… "The Student's simple cream body…"

  • I have this and just modded a month blanc cartridge to work with it. Awesome combo but it's otherwise pretty meh. The grip is slippery too

How on earth can a student afford $45 for a pen?
