I went on ebay today and at checkout couldnt select paypal anymore. Wondering if its just me or a new ebay-wide change that others are experiencing?
I'm not using any coupon/voucher codes either.
Edit: false alarm. appears to have been a system issue and now working again.
I used PayPal to pay just yesterday. For a few things actually. Has it been a staged rollout?
I'm a pro seller on ebay and my buyers have been paying using eBay payment system. Did you buy from private sellers yesterday? Maybe those haven't been migrated over and the pro sellers are the first to go over.
Mixture between pro and private, mostly pro. Its not just yesterday, I've been paying with Paypal as long as I remember (and I shop on ebay often). Even after the notice came out that sellers had to accept eBay's system I was still using Paypal to pay.
Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones that still had it active for this long…

Yeah its a bit odd. None of my items in cart have paypal as an option anymore.
Might be a payment system issue. We're suppose to still have access to paypal until 2023.

There's a current Paypal issue. Not eBay related. Affecting majority of everything.
Tried using PayPal on Puma and had issues
Just checked now and looks like it's all resolved. 2FA issue according to reddit.
I had to enter my credit card info. Took too much effort and I expect compensation from Paypal
It's been like this for a while now. Ebay switched off PayPal and uses their own payment system.
