Hi all,
Back again with a new defibrillator deal. I noticed a number of First Aid companies don’t include a prep kit with their defibrillator. A prep kit is really important and it would be terrible for someone to buy a defibrillator and not have one, so I wanted to mention a long running deal- we include a prep kit with all defibrillator purchases. Other businesses will charge an additional $30 for one.
A Prep Kit includes all the items to help prepare someone for defibrillation. Why are prep kits so important?
Scissors: make it easy to remove clothing to apply defibrillator pads in a hurry
Shaving Razor: defibrillator pads don’t always do so well with hairy chests so all kits included a razor.
CPR Faceshield: stay protected when giving CPR rescue breaths
Towlette: electricity and water don’t mix, so a towlette can help dry a person off to receive a shock.
A great deal to consider is the Lifepak CR2 Essential Semi-Automatic. We are selling them for $2010 at the moment, which is a very competitive price. It has a couple of great features:
- 360joules biphasic shock, basically it has a higher energy shock and modified waveform that gives 12% higher chance of survival than other defibrillators.
- CPRinsight that lets you give CPR while the defibrillator is analysing a patients heart rhythm
- Child mode that delivers an age appropriate shock for young children and infants
Many of you have commented on the CELL-AED defibrillator. It’s an affordable defibrillator that’s designed for home use. While it may seem like a good deal, it’s more expensive than our Heartsine 350/360p defibrillators over 8 years. It also delivers quite a low energy shock compared to other defibrillators. I’ve written a blog post to help you make an informed comparison at https://ddisafety.com.au/should-you-actually-buy-a-cell-aed-…
Price in the title please.
