Free Intel Inside Logo Label for Validated Intel CPU Owners Delivered @ Intel

150

We all like free things, here's one for anyone who has an Intel CPU with some sort of proof of ownership.

Intel provides replacement CPU labels / stickers, simply fill out the form, attach proof of purchase (however old it is), and they'll post that generation's sticker out to you free of charge.

It took them around two weeks to validate my request for an 11th Gen sticker, and it's now on the way.

Source was Tom's Hardware.

Have fun.

EDIT: Copy & Paste from Tom's Hardware about the proof of purchase - For proof of purchase, you can screenshot or photo an invoice, receipt, or packing slip to send along with your online request form. If you don't have any of that kind of proof, you will be able to save a screenshot from the Intel System Support Utility (linked to via the form) instead.

Ah, but does it make the "schwiiing, dun dun dun DUN" sound as you stick it on?

  • I remember when amd did this, still got a heap of amd k6 generation stickers

  • Just did that 2 weeks ago and got a reply today that it has been approved. For those who are wondering, I requested label for the recent OEM (tray only) Intel i7 12th gen deal at CA Ebay store, which didn't come with one by default.

It gets sent in a bubble wrapped package by courier from the factory in China, I requested one couple years back.

    • +14

      That's terrible.

      • +6

it kind of is hey. I'm all for getting good deals on stuff you actually need, but thinking about packaging and transport costs here makes me feel dirty

The whole idea of this sticker request is you can have some bubble wrap for free

    • mine got sent by fedex from Middleburg Heights, Ohio. no bubble wrap though….just came in a little yellow envelope with a letter in a cardboard document mailer.

  • Can they also send me a laptop for free to put the sticker on?

    • +14

Only if you prove you have a sticker

  • Be Intel’s shill, for free. A mouse pad would be more useful.

    • +2

Be the mouse pad industries shill. What an honor.

      • Username checks out

  • Will they accept Mac running Intel HW?

    • wouldn’t be much of a marketing dpt if it didn’t

back from the day I used to work at a laptop manufacturer assembling 486 laptops and early Pentiums, 50-66MHz

    • Ah, 486, my very first desktop PC. Struggles a lot when trying to run Starcraft!

      • I had a 286.
Man, that was a big step up in speed from my 8086 I had in the office.

      • My first was a 386 DX40

        • Don’t forget to make sure the turbo button is on :)

  • Don't these just end up stuck on kitchen appliances at work?
Eg we had a water boiler with Intel Inside sticker on it in old office.

    got any AMD logos?

You can also download Intel SSU, save your system, edit the ouputted text file, reload it and screenshot that
    that's how I got i9 Extreme stickers.

Xeon's (excluding E3) don't come with stickers, they denied me.
