  • I've got one of these. For some reason it doesn't charge an S21 at more than 18 watts (9v, 2A). Apparently this happens with all of them. The phone will say it is at Super fast charging though.

    • Yep Baseus included this on their listing and in my deal description.

Please note that it doesn't support Samsung PPS 45W.

I got s21. Any other recommendations or still this is okay ?

        • +1

If you don't mind 18W charging this is still fine. It'll charge fast but won't be super fast.

          • @Clear: Yeah doesn't charge my Poco F3 at 27W quick charge 4 either, 18W max. I understand that the 30W Poco F3 is proprietary thru their wall charger but still :(

@adrianhughes1998: Makes you wish manufacturers would use normal PD profiles. My Motorola gets 30W turbo charge with this, while my Samsung would only get 18 or 25W.

            • +1

@adrianhughes1998: Yep, I've got two Baseus chargers, and it's the same. It's all about the Volt-Amp output. The Poco F3 max fast charges at 11V 3A - good luck finding a charger with that output. Only the Xiaomi car charger handles that as far as I know. **Edit: I take that back. Even the expensive 100W Xiaomi charger only does 9V 2A = 18W

      • S21 is 25 watts max

    • There are three modes for Samsung (well atleast for my Note 10)

      Fast Charging : 18W
      Super Fast Charging : 25W
      Super Fast Charging 2.0 : 45W

If his phone says Super Fast Charging, it should be atleast 25W (which would be 9x3A = 27W). There is no 9Vx2A in the output specs.

You want the 100w Baseus car charger it also allows simulatenous charging off both ports. I'm fairly sure this 65w doesn't. The 100w also supports 45w Samsung fast charge however on the usb-c connection.

  • This one doesn't fast charge s21 ultra… I plugs in, and it says fast charge not available… I dont know whats the problem…

    • +3

The IC chip it uses doesn't support 45W PPS super fast charging in Samsung. That's why Baseus state it's not compatible.

  • It charges my Dell XPS laptop at a reasonable rate.

Just out of curiosity, how much power can I draw from a car socket?

    • curious too… and if its delivering 65w for a laptop, is that going to KO my car battery in an hour of idle time?

      • Probably why they included a voltmeter, not sure if it's accurate, probably best to stop when the number drops.

      • In older cig lighters, the rear positive was made of a solder type material, and would melt to the point, of separation. These day's, an angled brass male spade, is used. The culprit was a tyre pump.

    • +4

The cigarette socket usually has a 10A fuse, so it should be fine to handle up to 10A.

Even though 65 Watts at the USB side (5V) draws 13A, but at the socket side (12V) it's only 5A. Factoring in extra loads from possible suboptimal circuitry design/components, still plenty of head room.

  • Does the store accept Paypal as payment?

    • +1

      Yes AliExpress does.

  • Code only works for light tarnish colour. Anyway, thanks OP.

    • Just tested and it works for me on both. Code could be 1 per account if you've already ordered.

  • Need one that can charge S21 ultra..

  • Does it support Oppo find X2 pro?

  • Will the USB-C work for iPhone 13 at 20W?
I understand the Samsung isn’t compatible because it can’t do the max of 45W, but iPhone 13 is only rated at 20W and I’m not sure if this is mainly geared towards Android.

    • +1

It can do regular 45W, It just can't do Samsung PPS 45W

  • OP, any deals on Aldocube tablets?

  • What about pixel 6 ? any issue?

    • Nah should be no issues there. baseus have just stated Samsung only.

Note, that for any outputs over 12V, this charger effectively requires you to be using a truck with a 24V battery. It cannot generate 15V or 20V (all required for the higher output levels up to 65W) from a standard 12V car battery.

    • -1

This is not true, you can generate higher voltages with some dc-dc electronics (eg buck boost converter). Not sure if this does it, and it might not be the most efficient, but is definitely possible.

      • +1

I never said it wasn't possible, I'm well aware that DC-DC boost converters exist. I have this adapter, and it does not use a boost converter. It requires 15V or higher (tested with a bench power supply) to output 15V, and 24V to output 20V. Keep that in mind if you're buying this adapter to charge a laptop in the car.

  • Bought this a while ago, still haven't received tracking just says "arrived at sorting center"

    • last update was 24/2

      • I noticed AliExpress shipping is a bit inconsistent when the order is cheap and physical size of the parcel is small. If the parcel is bigger than the size of a tissue box, it's almost guaranteed to arrive in about 2 weeks. They will refund you if you don't get it within their estimated time.

I once had some screws arrive 6 months after I ordered it. This is after the seller already refunded me.

  • "This promo code has run out—please message the seller to restock."

  • Just got one. Don't think it's expired.. or they've 'restocked'

Is this the same one? ebay is cheaper and local shipping

  • Should work on a MacBook Pro 16 inch M1 yeh?

  • What PPS can it do if it can't do 45W? Can it do the 25W?

    • Before my Samsung reached an unfortunate airborne end it would report Super Fast Charging with this so it should be 25W.

  • does it fast charge samsung s22 ultra and oppo find x2 pro?

  • Op is code still valid? Can't seem to get through.
