yeah you would be up for around $10-12k extra for the second person. Still decent, but would take the shine off winning it a little. Seems really dumb to make the prize for a single person.

The Prize is a 10 day, 9 night expedition cruise to the Galapagos Islands departing Quito on the 31st August 2022 for one.
Prize includes accommodation in an unspecified Explorer cabin; all meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner at the main restaurant) and selected non-alcoholic beverages during meal times. The Prize is valued from AU$17,500 including flights, for a single traveller as at 17th March 2022. The ‘from’ price may be subject to fluctuation as Hurtigruten Expeditions has a flexible pricing system and all prices are capacity controlled and subject to availability.

This should be no more than $8000 per person if you book the flights yourself then book the cruise with a local Quito agent.

Draw was 2 June. Did anyone get a notification email? I’m still getting emails from them on their tours but nothing so far on the comp.
Looks awesome but who goes on a holiday of a lifetime 'by themselves' and I cannot see this being a draw card to pay for a 2nd ticket…
