Another VR Bundle from Humble, which is great to see. Pistol Whip is a fantastic game and to get it for this price along with all the other content makes this a very worthwhile bundle if you're into PCVR.

IMPORTANT: This is for PCVR via Steam, it is not for Meta/Oculus Quest native games. You can play these games with your Quest 2; however, you will need a capable PC to play them via Link / AirLink / Virtual Desktop.

  • How is this compared to Oculus?

    • You need to connect whatever headset you are using to your PC so it depends on the specs of your PC.

PC has better graphics. and overall moding is alot easyer

      Can stream to Quest 2.

I was able to play to Beat Saber doing it that way, a timing based VR game, so the lag isn't bad. However, I did get much better scores when I bought the one on the Quest 2 and played directly off of the hardware, so lag must have reduced more so. I am just setting up a new Wi-Fi Router to improve this situation.

As obvious as it is in hindsight, I was surprised by how much more detailed the graphics were when streamed from PC vs loaded on the quest.

PC is better but lag when streaming rhythm games gets annoying. Eg powerbeats VR you really wanna get from the app lab on quest

        • +1

I have wifi 6 on my pc mother board so I use it as a hotspot when playing airlink instead of router. I get less app to motion latency at 40ms compared to using a link cable at 50ms

          • +1

@Bombdigidy: I think most of the lag comes from video encoding.

Worth it for pistol whip alone, been wanting to add it to my library for a while now

  • wow yes those games a decent pistol whip and vacation simulator very good VR games.

Propogation cured my constipation in one play. Man is it scary.

    • +1

It's listed as a DLC on Humble Bundle page, does anyone know if we need to purchase something else to play it? Or is this Co-op VR version standalone?

      • +1

I don't know, but the original product is free to download, so your worst case scenario is a requirement to download the (free) original software first

        • +2

Cheers, I was going to just pass on with the shits when it told me I couldn't activate the key without another product :D

Can confirm it works after adding the free Propagation VR to your account.

          • @Abaddon: From memory the base game is free and they were charging for the co op expansion, which is part of the bundle

      • +1

The game is free, DLC is paid

  • MSG for PBVR key.

  • I've got a spare Vanishing Realms & Vacation Simulator key, PM me if interested.

    • +1

      Claimed by 11.

  • Message for spare Vanishing Realms, PowerBeatsVR, Traffic Jams, Down The Rabbit Hole, Propagation VR - Co-op and Ragnarock keys

  • Can these be played on Windows Mixed Reality headsets? I bought one from JBHiFi price error a while ago, it will be good to finally use it :)

    • +1

      Yes

  • Good bundle though I already have a lot of these. If anyone’s uninterested in Vacation Sim and wants to swap for a SUPERHOT VR key let me know.

    • PMed, any chance youd do ragnarock for superhot vr?

  • Anyone know if there is any lags for streaming pistol whip to oculus quest 2? Is it playable?

    • Depends on how good your PC is, if you meet the requirements there should be no problem.
