I need a footrest for under my desk in my home office to help fight my sciatica. The widest foam ones I can find are 45cm and most are 40cm or less. I found a faux (vegan) leather one that is 47cm wide. I was hoping to find one at least 50cm wide. Has anyone found one or can offer a suggestion for a practical alternative? I sit bare-footed at my desk, so would prefer to avoid the hard plastic type. My budget sits at about $60 as I lashed out for an XL Titan chair from Secret Labs (man is it good!) unless I find one that is particularly desirable.
Extra Wide Soft Footrest for under Desk

Thanks, but they are all ottomans or foot stools. I'm looking for something specifically angled for desk work like this:

The bean bag idea might work as you have pointed out they can be shaped and as firm as you want by adding beans. If the width is all you're after, just grab two of those and then fasten them together with velcro
Buy two?
It might come to that. 2 x cheap ones might be the only real option.
Dont buy things full beans, they'll squash down too quick
I recently bought this from IKEA and it works wonders for me as a footrest
IKEAThe diameter is 45 cm which is slightly smaller than your need. If you could splash a bit more there's on for 56 cm
I guess you can use anything that does the job. It doesn't have to be purpose made. Thanks.
I ended up ordering one of these as it has a zip that allows you to add material to firm it up, and if it really is too short I'll have to order another.

There are a variety of soft footstools you can get from manchester stores. Try bean bags as you can fill them with as much or as little as you want until you get the desired height.
