Any recommendations on a good wireless keyboard and mouse for gaming? I've purchased some logitech ones in the past that weren't. that good for gaming by being laggy for input. Luckily amazon has a good return policy. Im looking to spend up to $400 total
If it helps. I mainly do RP on Gta via FiveM
Cheers in advance
Good Wireless Gaming Keyboard and Mouse

Hmm. My computer is under my desk, but I normally have my phone on it somewhere of my smart watch charging under my monitors. I wonder if that was causing issues
i have the g613 and it has connection problems when i place my phone directly in between it and the receiver (which is the most convenient spot to put my phone..) sometimes it cuts out entirely for a few seconds at a time, sometimes it's just a bit laggy, but all issues are fixed as soon as i move my phone out of the signal path.
That's the model I sent back. It never occurred to me with the phone
@Jake17: that was most likely your issue, though it could be anything that puts put competing signals like the wireless charger
i don't even know how i realised it but one day i remember moving the phone while having connection issues and after that, i realised everytime i had connection issues, my phone was in the signal path, ever since i've been able to fix it by just moving my phone out of the way. i've had the keyboard for around a year, maybe slightly over at this point, and i love it
I"m using a Logitech G613 right now, the switches definitely aren't the best nor the stabilisers (not surprised, many gaming keyboards are like this). I get quite a bit of key chattering however, especially on my A key which is really annoying. I have had key chattering issues with a G810 I had as well. Very annoying. Logitech Romer G switches don't feel all that great anyway, their 'tactile' switches feel linear in comparison to other switches.
Far too many subjective factors to ask for a broad brush suggestion. Depends on what you want mouse shape to be and how many buttons, same for keyboard, mechanical or not, how many macro buttons, what features most important to you etc.
My preference is Logitech mice and Corsair keyboards. Everyone will be different.
Only preference I have is it has a number pad on the right. I use a streamdeck for all my shortcuts and other techie stuff
Do you actually use the number pad to type numbers or do you use it for shortcuts/games?
There is nothing wrong with corsair, logitech, razer keyboards but they are about 50% overpriced - the parts aren't great and the keycaps are very thin. I don't think there is much benefit gained after about $150 for the keyboard. I'd recommend a keychron (look at K4 or C2), Leopold or GMMK. As a side note I really enjoy the marginally heavier springs in the Gateron Yellow switches.
For the mouse I am a fan of the Glorious Model O (or D) I have the wired version and it is fantastic.
I use the number pad for both typing and in game stuff. Mainly fiveM. I use my stream decks for all my shortcuts
I use Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED + Keychron K4 Wireless
I've used Logitech mouses for the last 15 years and only ever had 1 stop working (which they replaced on the spot)
I hated wireless gaming mouse and keyboard for a long time. because of charging and al that.
But then I was converted with the Logitech Powerplay wireless charging mousepad and G903.
But then G903 have issues, it's not affecting the usage but very annoying, the DPI changing button kept changing the mouse speed randomly and the wheels are way too sensetive for FPS, you randomly switch guns all the time because of that.
After changing to G502, all the problems are gone.
Wireless mouse + wireless charging pad is really good experience. For keyboards, Keychrons are good, I also recommending Steelseries.
Most of the brands have lots of parts in common, there aren't many oem factories left standing anymore. so you won't see significant difference in quality. That being said, Keychrons…no driver needed.
If you buy…let's say a Razer, or Steelseries, Corsair or any other brands, you will have to install another bulky software for the lighting and all that.
For my computer's RGB to sync properly, I have 5 software installed.
So just for that reason, if you care about RGB, try stay on the same brand.
if you don't care about RGB, keyboards you can try use brands like Keychrons.
i would not get any logitech mice, odds are the switches will start failing and you'll get doubleclicking (me and all my friends who own logitech mice have this problem).
razer viper ultimate / basilisk ultimate are the only two i would risk as they don't use the same bad switches, they have optical switches.
logitech g613 keyboard is pretty good, extremely long lasting batteries (normal AA) and good connection, just make sure you don't leave anything like your phone in between the keyboard and the receiver as it can interrupt the signal.
